Chronology of Autonomy<\/strong><\/p>\n
The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa declared the Institute autonomous through its notification No. SO (UE) 1-47\/98 on June 12, 1999 as the Institute of Management Sciences. The status as a statutory entity was granted to it through the promulgation of the Institute of Management Sciences Ordinance 2002 by the Governor of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on October 02, 2002 through No. LEGIS: 1 (12)\/98\/7278 by the Law Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.<\/p>\n
In its seventh meeting on May 10, 2005, the Board of Governors allowed IMSciences to issue its own degrees to fuel academic growth and determine its own strategic priorities<\/p>\n
