The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization has been an integral part of IMSciences since 2010, aimed to develop, expand, enhance and manage the university′s research programs and to link research activities directly to the educational, social and economic priorities of the University and its broader community.

The ORIC works on a three-pronged strategy:

  1. Preparing faculty members/researchers by providing them trainings, workshops on various aspects of research activities
  2. Interaction with various research agencies, donor organizations etc. looking for research promotional opportunities
  3. Industry linkages to transform pure knowledge into products and production processes for the ultimate end of broader community welfare
